In this role, you will develop, implement, and optimize dynamic creative campaigns across multiple ad serving and DCO platforms. You will work closely with Account, Project Management, Creative, and Media teams to transform campaign strategies into technical solutions, ensuring flawless execution, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Campaign Execution
- Develop and maintain responsive HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript banners, animations (e.g., CSS and GSAP), and modular templates for Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO).
- Implement dynamic variables, business rules, and data feeds (CSV, JSON, XML, Google Sheets) to enable personalized campaigns at scale.
- Prepare publication packages, including naming conventions, packaging, tags, clickTags, and polite loading implementation.
- Upload and traffic creative assets and dynamic campaigns across DCO and ad serving platforms according to client technology stacks.
Collaboration & Operations
- Partner with Account, Project Management, and Client teams, as well as media agencies, to translate addressable marketing strategies into clear technical requirements.
- Support the definition of technical ways of working for new client accounts, including staging environments, repositories, and approval workflows.
- Estimate development effort and timelines while proactively identifying technical risks and limitations.
Quality Assurance & Launch
- Perform functional and visual QA across multiple creative variations, browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Validate tracking integrations (click, impression, and interaction tracking), brand safety requirements, and platform compliance.
- Provide QA documentation, including variation checklists, screenshots, and screen recordings when required.
Documentation & Technical Support
- Create and maintain technical documentation, template functionality guides, and internal implementation documentation.
- Provide technical support to Project Management and Creative teams during automation RFPs, including feasibility assessments, technical inputs, and scope definition.
- Assist with the onboarding of new platforms and tools by supporting initial setup and proof-of-concept implementations.
Continuous Improvement
- Promote and implement best practices for performance optimization, accessibility, naming conventions, and version control.
- Contribute to the evaluation of new third-party advertising solutions across display, social, and video channels through proof-of-concept projects.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years of experience developing HTML5 banners and dynamic creative solutions for paid media campaigns.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript, with experience using CSS and GSAP for animations, as well as sprite and video assets.
- Hands-on experience with DCO and ad serving platforms such as Google Marketing Platform (Studio, Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360), Flashtalking, Sizmek, Celtra, or similar technologies.
- Experience working with dynamic data feeds (CSV, JSON, XML), including field mapping, business rules, and data validation.
- Experience performing cross-browser and cross-device QA, optimizing creative performance (including lazy/polite loading), and troubleshooting tags and tracking implementations.
- Experience using version control systems (Git), project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello), and design collaboration platforms (Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, with the ability to read technical documentation and collaborate with global teams.
Preferred
- Experience with social DCO platforms (e.g., Meta Creative Hub, Smartly or similar).
- Familiarity with Connected TV (CTV), Online Video (OLV) specifications, and VAST/VPAID standards.
- Experience with template systems, build tools (NPM), templating engines, and code quality tools such as linters.
- Understanding of data layers, UTM tracking, measurement frameworks, and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) as they relate to digital advertising creatives.
