Working closely with senior leaders, you will oversee day-to-day production responsibilities, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards within established budgets and timelines. You will act as a primary, client-facing point of contact for both on-set production and complex post- production workflows. The ideal candidate will have ambitions that push production and technological limits, possessing deep experience across integrated platforms, physical shoots, and post-production management.
Responsibilities
Creative & Production Execution
- End-to-End Management: Scope, ballpark, and execute creative concepts, break down scripts, build detailed project schedules, and manage project scope from inception through final delivery.
- On-Set Leadership: Lead physical production on set, facilitating all communication between the agency, clients, and external production partners.
- Post-Production Oversight: Serve as the lead point of contact for complex post-production pipelines, overseeing CGI, color correction, and online/offline editing for broadcast, social, and digital deliverables.
- Creative Problem Solving: Actively contribute to the elevation of the creative product; seek innovative, high-quality solutions to financial or time limitations.
Relationship & Account Management
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate proactively with Creative, Account Services, Business Affairs, and Talent departments regarding milestones and deliverables to keep processes flowing smoothly.
- Client Partnership: Serve as a trusted, client-facing partner, articulately presenting complex production plans to stakeholders with varying levels of production knowledge.
- Industry Relations: Research, select, and negotiate with top-tier directors, cinematographers, and specialized vendors, maintaining the agency's reputation and standard of excellence.
Financial, Legal & Talent Business Affairs
- Budget & Financial Management: Generate estimates, track invoices, manage budgets, and partner with Business Affairs Managers on final project actualizations and efficient wrap-outs.
- Compliance & Talent Regulations: Maintain a strong working knowledge of client compliance, legal guidelines, and talent/union regulations (including SAG-AFTRA guidelines and costs) to advise both agency teams and clients.
Innovation & Team Mentorship
- Trend & Tech Leadership: Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies (including Al tools and next-generation production processes), and award-winning work.
- Team Support: Mentor and support fellow producers, helping guide teams away from avoidable challenges using proactive risk assessment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7-10 years of integrated production management experience within a creative agency or global production studio.
- Sector Expertise: Proven track record in physical production, post-production (CGI, editing, VFX), and a strong portfolio. Working production knowledge in the Food & Beverage sectors is highly desirable. Experience in digital and experiential platforms is a plus.
- Technical & Process Knowledge: Deep technical understanding of post-production workflows and physical shoot logistics.
- Talent/Union Acumen: Strong familiarity with SAG-AFTRA rules, talent contracts, and union/non- union talent costing.
