Responsibilities
This role oversees the Post, Content, and Studio production process, managing budgets, schedules, and project delivery across various media formats, including video, animation, broadcast, and digital content. The position ensures production standards while upholding high creative and craft standards, and stays ahead of industry trends and evolving distribution platforms, including AI. Collaborating with producers, creatives, and senior leadership, this individual defines project scopes, optimizes workflows, and develops strategic solutions to production challenges. This role may also be called upon to steer and mentor junior team members. They lead vendor and talent sourcing, negotiate contracts, and manage RFPs, fostering strong external partnerships. As a motivational and communicative leader, they cultivate a positive team culture and contribute to the company's strategic growth in a global market.
- Oversee the full life cycle of projects, including estimates, scheduling, maintaining timelines, delivery, and wrap-up.
- Lead and manage all media production and post-production, including short- and long-form content, animation, graphics, field and studio shoots, OLV, broadcast, and social/digital content.
- Ensure the highest creative standards and production quality across all projects, never sacrificing craft.
- Partner with primary producers, project managers, and client teams to define project scopes, align on Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure all deadlines and budgets are met.
- Manage and adjust production strategies as needed, proactively identifying issues and providing strategic solutions with an unflappable, calm, positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director on project needs, talent sourcing, opportunities, and sales strategies.
- Oversee all video production and post-production workstreams, ensuring alignment across teams and optimizing workflows; communicate production processes and best practices to the team while continually seeking efficiencies.
- Recruit, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with external production and creative partners, artists, vendors, and contract talent, leveraging strong negotiation skills.
- Craft and manage RFPs for external vendors and contractors, overseeing selection and ongoing relationships.
- Act as a highly communicative and motivational leader, fostering team growth while maintaining a positive, calm approach.
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership to shape a strategic vision for growth, helping expand a global brand in a global market.
- Stay current on production trends, new technology, and distribution platforms, including AI.

- Expert knowledge of post-production processes along with an understanding of video production.
- Expert knowledge of post-production tools, tech, and project management software.
- Familiarity with project management and scheduling software.

- Strong understanding of current industry software and awareness of new trends.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A broad rolodex of freelance resources.
- 8+ years of Post-Production experience, ideally within the Creative or Ad Agency space.
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $215,000 – $220,000
