What does a Content Manager do at WPP Production?
The Content Manager is responsible for moderating internal content and publishing high-profile, fast-turnaround web, in-store, and marketing assets. This role emphasizes regional and global content, necessitating close collaboration with other WPP Production hubs situated across various countries. Such collaboration is critical to achieving success.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Digital Content Publisher tasks, both regionally and globally, across various platforms.
- Review all materials delivered for publishing and implement all publishing protocols.
- Understand and contribute to the ever-evolving workflows to ensure flawless delivery.
- Liaise with Project Management and Design teams to ensure consistency and quality across materials, with a focus on continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
- Flag any concerns or issues encountered with the format in which work is received, ensuring that feedback is provided and processes are consistently adhered to.
- Support the final publication of content within the client's proprietary CMS.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the client brand guidelines and expectations, staying updated with any changes as they evolve.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the client’s platform guidelines, reviewing and evaluating content accordingly.
- Escalate complex cases or content requiring further review to senior moderators or other departments.
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of experience working with a content management system and managing content for a global audience.
- Experience in client services or production agencies.
- An exceptional eye for detail, with the ability to work at pace while maintaining absolute focus, particularly in an open-plan environment, is essential for success.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling ambiguity.
- Experience with Wrike or other project management tools to track workload and progress.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors.
- Capacity to quickly acquire new responsibilities.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude.
- Proactive with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
