What does Final Artist do at WPP Production?
As a Final Artist, you will be responsible for our client’s advertising campaigns ensuring that you are delivering against the brand guidelines and tone of voice. You will need to have a creative eye and be capable of working with speed, accuracy and strong attention to detail. Working on artwork and digital banners as well as layout design, this position requires sound technical knowledge and advanced studio software skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Working to briefs, you will need to demonstrate clear brand understanding and consistently deliver quality artwork that is on brand, including but not limit to layout design, etc.
- Finalize design files for print and digital media, ensuring they meet all technical specifications.
- Collaborate with creative, designers and production teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy.
- Prepare files for production, including pre-press checks, color correction, and format adjustments.
- Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
- Support your Team Lead and respond to information requests from your Line Manager/Team Lead in a timely manner.
- Appreciation, adherence and enforcement of WPP Production key policies.
- Ensure that any non-adherence to the processes or issues with files is reported in line with the process in place.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Final Artist or similar role, with at least 3 years of experience.
- Competent in key Creative Suite programs to an intermediate level.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs.
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and other visual design tools.
- Knowledge of print production processes and digital publishing standards.
- Strong attention to detail and time management, ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Be proactive in keeping skills up-to-date and drive self-improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
