Senior Consultant (Solutions Design)

The Role

The Senior Consultant is a key architect of our offering. You are not just a project delivery lead; you are a core contributor to the thinking behind Solutions Design.

While the Head of Strategic Consulting sets the global vision and methodology, you are responsible for evolving and operationalising it. You will take ownership of specific practice areas (e.g., “Agentic Workflows" or "Change Management"), developing the Intellectual 

Property (IP) that the rest of the network uses. You act as a strategic partner to the Head of role, capable of leading significant engagements and shaping the future of our product.

Key Responsibilities

1. Practice Development

Methodology Evolution: You don't just follow the AIMO (AI Marketing Operations) process; you help refine it. You will lead the development of new frameworks and consulting modules based on real-world learnings (e.g., creating a "GenAI Governance" module).

Capability Ownership: You will build specific expertise that allows you to take "Product Ownership" of key functional areas (e.g., Technology Stacks, Change Management/Transformation, Media/DCO, or Agentic Workflows). You will be the network's expert on how Solutions Design applies to these areas, codifying the best-in-class approach.

Thought Leadership: Collaborate with the Head of role to author thinking, internal playbooks, and case studies that define our market position.

2. Strategic Client Leadership

Leading client solutions: You operate with autonomy. You will be expected to own individual client solutions and be able to step in for the Head of Strategic Consulting

with senior clients, leading high-level strategy sessions and navigating complex commercial negotiations.

Problem Shaping: You are involved before the project starts. You work with Growth leads to diagnose the client's problem during the pitch phase, helping to shape the

SOW and the strategic approach before the team lands.

Director-Level Advisory: You will act as the primary strategic advisor to VP/Director- level stakeholders, helping them secure the internal buy-in required fortransformation.

3. Engagement Direction

Leading the Squad: On major consulting projects, you are the Strategy Lead. You direct the "Discovery" and "Design" phases, setting the hypothesis that the Business

Analysts then validate.

Synthesis & Storytelling: You own the narrative. You take the granular data provided by the BAs and synthesise it into a compelling "Board-Ready" strategic presentation.

4. Commercial Structuring

Commercial Acumen: You support the Head of role in structuring the commercial model for engagements. You understand how to price value, not just time, ensuring our consulting work remains profitable and self-funding.

Requirements:

Practitioner Background: Deep experience in production (Agency or Production Company). You must understand the reality of making content, not just the theory.

Transformation Leadership: 6-8+ years of not just running projects, but designing solutions. You can switch between "Big Picture" strategy (Designing a global TOM)

and "Deep Dive" execution (solving a specific workflow bottleneck).

Authoritative Presence: You have the gravitas to lead a room of senior stakeholders and the confidence to challenge the status quo politely but firmly.

Builder Mindset: You enjoy creating things from scratch be that frameworks, tools, or models, rather than just following an existing template.

AI & Tech Fluency: A strong grasp of the marketing technology landscape, specifically GenAI, Agentic workflows, and how they will disrupt traditional production hierarchies.

Commercial Acumen: Experience structuring SOWs, business cases, and ROI models for consultancy services.
