WPP Production is looking for a Digital and Video Quality Control 

What does a QC Video / Digital do at WPP Production?

The QC Video/Digital Specialist ensures all digital, video, audio, and print assets are delivered accurately, functional across platforms, and fully compliant with brand, technical, and platform-specific requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality across high-volume, fast-paced, multi-format digital ecosystems, ensuring the highest quality and adherence to client specifications.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Review and Validate Final Deliverables:Examine digital assets (display banners, social media content, HTML5 ads, landing pages, emails, static/dynamic assets), video, audio, and print materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with briefs, brand guidelines, and technical specifications before release.
  • Functional and Usability Testing:Test digital assets across devices, browsers, and platforms to ensure correct functionality (e.g., animations, click-throughs, hover states, responsiveness, load times).
  • Validate Platform and Media Specifications:Ensure all assets (digital, video, audio, print) comply with specific platform or media requirements (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, programmatic platforms, TV, Social Media, Cinema), including file size, dimensions, formats, animation length, interaction rules, frame rate, resolution, aspect ratio, color space, safety margins, and subtitling rules.
  • Flag and Document Quality Issues:Identify issues such as broken links, incorrect tracking, animation glitches, layout inconsistencies, copy errors, missing assets, typos, color discrepancies, sync errors, or incorrect formats, and log them clearly using QC tools and trackers for revision.
  • Cross-Check Against Briefs and Master Files:Validate that all deliverables are aligned with approved designs, master templates, client briefs, and campaign guidelines, ensuring consistency and fidelity across formats, sizes, and markets.
  • Validate Localization and Dynamic Content:Ensure accuracy of localized versions, dynamic feeds, and personalization rules. This includes verifying language accuracy, formatting, alignment, correct rendering of language, currency, market-specific elements, and that copy fits appropriately within layout constraints.
  • Verify Tracking and Tagging Implementation:Check that tracking URLs, UTM parameters, click tags, and analytics integrations are correctly implemented and functional.
  • Use QC Tools and Checklists:Apply standardized QC checklists and use relevant tools (e.g., browser dev tools, ad validators, proofing platforms, audio meters, markup tools) to ensure consistent and thorough reviews.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Development, and Project Teams:Work closely and communicate efficiently with designers, developers, project managers, ad ops, editors, and producers to resolve issues quickly and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support End-to-End Quality Assurance:Identify recurring issues in templates, feeds, workflows, or project setup, and contribute to improving QA processes, automation, and scalability across all production types.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience working with US-based accounts or clients.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • +5 years of experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) within a digital production, video/moving images, or integrated creative production environment.
  • Strong understanding of integrated production workflows, including digital (display, social, web, CRM/email) and video post-production.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and basic JavaScript (for validation purposes).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Marketing Platform, Meta Ads).
  • Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser/device testing.
  • Understanding of tracking, tagging, and analytics (UTMs, click tags).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Plus, points:

  • Experience with dynamic content and feeds.
  • Knowledge of 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Cinema 4d).
  • Knowledge of composition software (e.g., Nuke, Fusion Studio).
  • Knowledge in Print production workflow.
