As a QA Engineer, you will ensure pixel-perfect quality, responsiveness, and functionality of front-end deliverables for global brands including Dell, HSBC, and Microsoft. Collaborating with Project Management and Development teams, you'll deliver high-standard, visually consistent user experiences across websites, web applications and digital contents (HTML5 banners, EDMs etc.)
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Ensure pixel-perfect quality, usability, responsiveness, and seamless user experience across websites, web applications, HTML5 display banners, responsive EDMs and other digital marketing assets.
- Prepare accurate testing estimations and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and QA checklists covering UI/UX validation, responsive behavior, browser/device compatibility and visual consistency.
- Validate HTML5 banners against campaign briefs, IAB specifications, animation behavior, click-through URLs, fallback images, replay functionality, looping rules, file size limitations, tracking implementation, localization and brand guidelines.
- Perform comprehensive QA for responsive HTML email campaigns, validating rendering consistency across major email clients (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo, mobile email apps), dark mode compatibility, dynamic content, personalization, links, tracking, and accessibility.
- Conduct visual, functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and cross-platform testing for HTML5 banners, email campaigns, websites and landing pages.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Designers, Developers, and Producers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quality is built into every stage of production.
- Identify layout inconsistencies, responsive issues, content defects, animation bugs, browser-specific issues, and functionality defects, providing clear, reproducible, and actionable bug reports.
- Validate campaign deliverables against client brand guidelines, accessibility standards, legal copy, tracking requirements, and QA checklists before release.
- Continuously improve QA processes, documentation, testing standards, and automation opportunities while staying current with industry trends and emerging testing technologies.
- Effectively manage QA activities across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced Agile environment while meeting tight delivery deadlines.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance with strong expertise in front-end testing for websites, web applications, HTML5 display banners, responsive EDMs and digital marketing assets.
- Proven experience creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, QA checklists, and detailed defect reports with a strong emphasis on pixel-perfect visual validation.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web technologies to effectively validate front-end functionality and identify implementation issues.
- Hands-on experience validating responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility, cross-device testing, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design principles.
- Practical experience testing HTML5 display banners, including animation timing, click tags, tracking implementation, fallback images, replay controls, looping behavior, IAB compliance, and file size optimization.
- Experience validating responsive email campaigns across major email clients using tools such as Email on Acid or Litmus, including dark mode rendering, dynamic content, responsive layouts, and email client compatibility.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, network requests, console errors, and responsive layouts.
- Hands-on experience with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, black-box, white-box, and exploratory testing techniques.
- Exposure to UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is highly desirable.
- Experience using defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing deliverables, branding consistency, accessibility, content validation, and campaign quality assurance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable and flexible working across multiple shifts supporting global delivery teams.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with global brands and high-volume digital marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of ad-serving platforms (Google Campaign Manager 360, DV360, Google Ad Manager, Sizmek, Flashtalking, Celtra, etc.).
- Experience working with Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) campaigns and feed-based creative production.
- Experience validating UTM parameters, click tracking, analytics tags, and third-party tracking pixels.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version control systems.
- Basic understanding of Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch for design comparison.
- Experience using BrowserStack or similar cross-browser/device testing platforms.
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and basic front-end performance testing.
