POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Digital Asset Manager, you will work closely with the client’s Martech & DAM Team as well as with internal partners to manage assets and all content deliverables. This includes handling metadata and usage rights for all assets. You need a deep understanding of the compliance requirements and DAM system, upload workflows.
We're looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized, tech-savvy and proactive individual. You should be independent, welcome challenges, and champion process adherence and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with clients, internal teams, and partners to track and manage all production deliverables.
• Verifying all metadata, appropriate usage rights and releases for all uploaded content.
• Cross checking all content being uploaded to the DAM follows all the appropriate technical requirements and flagging the files that do not follow technical and compliance specifications.
• Ensure all uploaded assets become available to be used or flagged for additional information within a 24 hour window.
• Work with the production Digital Asset Management (DAM) teams to ensure all finished and raw assets have been curated with complete metadata and are available for repurposing.
• Oversight, organization, and management of a very active team inbox.
• Serve as the central point of contact across agencies and client partners to provide asset availability status.
• Follow the appropriate processes and workflow for managing and curating production assets.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency throughout the content management, and upload lifecycle.
• Demonstrate adoption and proper use of the DAM and asset management tools.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• In-depth experience with Enterprise-level Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
• Familiarity with other production/marketing technologies like DRM (Digital Rights Management), MAM (Media Asset Management), CMS (Content Management Systems), Workflow tools, and Digital Proofing.
• Strong understanding of DAM processes, including metadata, taxonomy creation, and digital rights management.
• Excellent communication skills, able to clearly convey information to different audiences.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and act quickly and independently.
REQUIREMENTS
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive, helpful attitude.
• Results-oriented, with a creative approach to problem-solving and finding solutions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of managing multiple requests under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of success in detail-oriented tasks.
• High proficiency with computer systems on both Macintosh and PC platforms.
