POSITION OVERVIEW

The Asset Project Manager will be working directly with clients, agency teams, and partners to oversee and manage projects and all content deliverables being produced for our communications clients, including metadata and usage rights for all deliverables. They must have a deep understanding of the asset production process (print, digital, and video.) A strong background in agency workflow and production process from creative brief to final asset delivery and the contributors/participants at each stage of development is key.

 

This individual is service oriented and must have the ability to build and maintain internal/external relationships. They are a representative of Makerhouse interfacing with partner agencies, suppliers, and clients.They are a responsible, energetic, self-directed, proactive individual with exceptional people skills. They are independent and welcome challenges.  They embrace and promote process adherence and continuous improvements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

This individual’s day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Work with clients, agency teams, and partners to track and manage all production deliverables associated with individual projects from project kickoff through final delivery
  • Facilitate requests to repurpose content created by communications production teams, verifying all appropriate usage rights and releases
  • Work within suite of Digital Asset Management (DAM) tools to ensure all finished and raw assets have been curated with complete metadata and are available for repurposing
  • Identify missing and needed assets and timeline to receive them, including digital rights, licensing, and usage information of all assets
  • Serve as central point of contact across agencies and client partners to provide status and knowledge of all ongoing projects
  • Identify and enforce processes to ensure curation and management of produced assets
  • Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies by promoting asset management tools in content lifecycle
  • Demonstrate proper usage of all asset tools, support users, and promote their use
  • Identify measures to improve work processes, departmental performance, system improvements and asset quality; and assist in their development and deployment

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • In-depth experience with Enterprise Level Digital Asset Management systems
  • Familiarity with additional production/marketing tech and tools including DRM, MAM, CMS, Workflow, Digital Proofing, etc.
  • Understanding of digital asset management processes and how they support both agency and client needs, including metadata and taxonomy creation and digital rights management
  • Strong background in project management principles
  • Effective communicator with ability to concisely identify and convey pertinent information, tailored to the audience and situation
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize critical issues and react quickly and independently
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud tools

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong commitment to a positive, helpful attitude
  • Results oriented with the ability to creatively approach issue resolution and offer optional solutions
  • Ability to effectively self-prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of success in mission-critical, detail-oriented tasks
  • High degree of demonstrated computer efficiency on both Macintosh and PC platforms
